If you forget your password and have previously filled out your MyID Profile, you may reset your password yourself via the MyID website.
Visit http://myid.uga.edu. Click the blue Forgot Your Password button under MyID Password Management.
Type your MyID user name into the MyID field. If you do not know your MyID, call the EITS Help Desk.
Click the check box next to I'm not a robot, then click Verify MyID.
Depending on the preferences set in your MyID Profile, you will be asked to perform one of the following tasks:
- Answer your Secret Questions and Answers and then click Verify Answers.
- Receive a code by text to your phone, which you must enter into the form and then select Verify Passcode.
- Receive a code through your alternate email address which you must enter into the form and then select Verify Passcode.
Enter and confirm a new password.
