How to Reset Your MyID password

If you forget your password and have previously filled out your MyID Profile, you may reset your password yourself.

Visit https://myidprofile.uga.edu/. Click Change MyID Password under Profile on the left.

Enter Your MyID into the MyID field. If you're unsure of your MyID, please contact the EITS Help Desk by email at helpdesk@uga.edu or by phone at (706) 542-3106.

Check the box next to "I'm not a robot", then click Verify MyID.

Complete Identity Verification
Based on your MyID profile settings, you’ll be asked to verify your identity using one of the following methods:

  • Answer your Secret Questions and click Verify Answers.
  • Enter a verification code sent via text message to your phone, then click Verify Passcode.
  • Enter a verification code sent to your alternate email address, then click Verify Passcode.

Set a New Password
Enter and confirm your new password.
