Eligible UGA students, faculty, and staff can download the latest versions of Microsoft 365 applications as part of the university's Microsoft Campus Agreement, and install these applications on up to five different computers with a single Microsoft 365 license (Windows or MacOS) and on their mobile devices (Android or iOS).
Note: Incoming students will not be able to download the latest versions of the applications to their desktop or laptop until about one week before the start of their first class. This includes returning students who may have lost access while away.
Sign in to your Microsoft Account
To download Office applications, you must first sign in to your UGA-provisioned Microsoft account.
Log into your UGAMail online at ugamail.uga.edu. Click on the nine dots menu in the upper-left hand corner.
Then click More Apps.
A new browser tab or window will open. Choose Install Apps.
In the Install Apps drop down menu choose Microsoft 365 Apps.
A new window or tab will open.
Choose Install Office and the download will start.
Note: You must connect your device to the Internet at least once every 30 days to verify the status of your Microsoft 365 subscription. If you do not connect within 30 days, your applications go into reduced functionality mode until you connect your device to the Internet again.
