How to request a Microsoft Team

You can request a team through the UGAMail Microsoft Teams Request form. Please include the following information in the form.

  • Group/Team Name (Be descriptive and unique)
  • Department/Student Org (This will be added to the Name and primary identifier to tie it to the appropriate entity.)
  • Owner(s) MyIDs
  • Initial Members MyIDs (optional – Owners can add Members after the Team’s creation)
  • Description (optional – this field is listed in both Group and Team creation and may be useful)
