LISTSERV is the University of Georgia's email management system designed to send messages to groups of subscribers. It is commonly used to share information across organizations, departments, or communities of interest. At UGA, LISTSERV is provided by L-Soft and is used to create and manage email distribution lists.

Who Can Use LISTSERV?
Anyone can subscribe to a LISTSERV list, including individuals not affiliated with the University of Georgia. UGA students, faculty, staff, and recognized student organizations may request to create and own a list on the LISTSERV system.
List owners can manage their lists by:
- Adding or removing subscribers
- Configuring list settings
- Moderating messages (if enabled)
List Management can be performed via the web interface or by using email commands.
How to Access LISTSERV
You can interact with LISTSERV in two ways:

- Email Commands: Advanced users can manage lists by sending commands via email.
