Microsoft End-Of-Support Dates for Key Products

End-of-life (EOL) for Microsoft products signifies that Microsoft will cease to provide support for these products.

While the products will continue to function, they will no longer receive updates from Microsoft, and this lack of updates increases their vulnerability to security risks.

EITS recommends upgrading to the latest versions of these products to ensure continued support and security.

Products With Ongoing Support (no end of life):

  • Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise: No Retirement Date. Follows Microsoft’s Modern Life Cycle.
  • Microsoft 365 Apps for Business: No Retirement Date. Follows Microsoft’s Modern Life Cycle.

For products governed by the Modern Lifecycle Policy, Microsoft will provide a minimum of 12 months' notification prior to ending support if no successor product or service is offered, excluding free services or preview releases.
