Body
End-of-Life (EOL), also referred to as End-of-Support, indicates that Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, bug fixes, or technical support for a product.
While products may continue to function after their EOL date, they become increasingly vulnerable to security risks and compatibility issues.
EITS strongly recommends upgrading affected systems prior to end-of-support dates to ensure continued security, compliance, and performance.

macOS Support Lifecycle
Unlike Microsoft products, Apple does not publish fixed end-of-support dates for macOS versions. Instead, Apple provides security updates for:
- The current macOS release
- The two previous major versions
Once a version falls outside of this range, it is no longer supported and does not receive security updates.
