Terms and Conditions for Adobe Creative Cloud Student License Request
By submitting this request for an Adobe Creative Cloud Student License, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
You must be a current student of the University of Georgia and meet the eligibility criteria for the Adobe Creative Cloud Student License as outlined by Adobe and the institution. Faculty and staff members must contact their local IT department to gain access to Adobe. They are not eligible for an Adobe Creative Cloud Student License request unless they are actively enrolled in classes at UGA.
2. License Use
The Adobe Creative Cloud Student License is intended solely for educational purposes. You agree to use the software exclusively for coursework, academic research, and non-commercial projects. Any other use, including for-profit or personal projects, is prohibited.
3. License Assignment
The license is non-transferable and will be assigned to the individual student for a period of four weeks (28 consecutive days). After the first 26 days, you will be notified that your license will expire in 48 hours. You will have the option to request an extension within this 48-hour window. If an extension request is not submitted within the given timeframe, your license will be automatically removed at the end of the 28-day period. If you remain eligible, you may request a new license upon the expiration of the current one.
4. Software Access
To access Adobe Creative Cloud, navigate to creativecloud.adobe.com and log into your Adobe account using your UGA MyID and password.
5. Access and Availability
The availability of Adobe Creative Cloud licenses is subject to the terms set by Adobe and the University of Georgia’s licensing agreement. Access to the software may be limited or revoked at any time if the terms of this agreement are violated or if the University’s agreement with Adobe is modified.
6. Data and Privacy
By using the software, you acknowledge and agree that Adobe may collect and store personal information as per their privacy policy. Please refer to Adobe's privacy policy for more details on data usage and protection.
7. Liability
The University of Georgia and its IT department are not responsible for any damages or issues resulting from the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud software, including data loss, software conflicts, or system incompatibilities.
8. Termination of License
Failure to comply with these terms may result in the termination of your Adobe Creative Cloud Student License. The IT department reserves the right to revoke access at any time.
9. Support
Our team is available to assist with account setup and granting access to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. However, if you encounter issues with any Adobe Creative Cloud software, you will need to contact Adobe Support directly, as we do not have the access or capability to troubleshoot software-specific issues. For Adobe Support, visit Adobe Support Contact Page.
10. Accuracy of Information
Please ensure all information on the form is correct and that you have used your UGA MyID, NOT your 810/811 student number. Incorrect information may delay your request or result in the inability to grant access to the Adobe Creative Cloud Student License.
By submitting this request, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
