The University of Georgia offers Single Sign-On (SSO) for web application authentication through the UGA Central Authentication Service (CAS).
For new SSO integration requests, please note the following:
Process Overview: Requests are handled through a structured workflow involving the application owner, the Information Security team, and the Identity Management team within EITS.
Timeline: Please allow a minimum of eight weeks from the time of request submission to deployment. This timeline may vary depending on the complexity of the integration and any issues encountered during implementation.
Authentication Options - Applications can choose between:
Single-factor authentication
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) using ArchPass, UGA’s two-factor authentication service.
Applications that access sensitive or restricted data are strongly encouraged to implement multi-factor authentication.
