What licenses are available to eligible Faculty, Students, and staff?

As an eligible faculty member, student, or staff you will have either a Microsoft A1 License or a Microsoft A5 License. Please refer to EITS Knowledge Base article What Microsoft 365 Tools are Licensed for Students, Faculty, and Staff?

As an eligible UGA faculty member, student, or staff, what is included with my Microsoft license?

Eligible faculty members, students, and staff have access to Microsoft features based on their license type. Refer to the table our main Microsoft 365 Applications article for more information. 

Where can I get instructions to download and install Microsoft 365?

I recently purchased Microsoft Office for my personal use. Can I be reimbursed?  

No. You purchased a consumer product. Microsoft 365 is available through UGA’s existing license with Microsoft. 

Where can I get help installing Microsoft 365? 

For installation assistance, contact the EITS Help Desk at 706-542-3106 or helpdesk@uga.edu. Once you have installed Microsoft 365, the EITS Help Desk does not support technical questions about the applications.
