Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP)

Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) is a service designed to provide in-depth information, research, and tools for IT professionals. It helps technical teams make informed decisions, mitigate risks, and execute leadership visions effectively. GTP offers guidance on technical planning, architecture and design, technology assessment, and more. 

Who can access Gartner for Technical Professionals?

Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) is available to UGA IT professionals, including departmental, college and central IT.

How do I access Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP)?

To access GTP, UGA IT professionals first need a client account with Gartner. 

If you do not already have a client account, you will receive an email from client.response@gartner.com informing you are registered on Gartner by the Gartner Administrator who manages access for your organization. The email will include your username and a link to create a password.

Follow the prompts to establish an account and set up a password. You do not need a license key. 

After setting your password, you will be able to complete the setup of your account. 

Your completed account and homepage should appear as follows.

You should receive an email from Gartner Support confirming that your GTP password has been successfully updated, along with an account confirmation email from Gartner.
