Is access to Athena being reviewed? 

No. Access to Athena is not reviewed during the annual audit. Only users who have access to Banner Admin INB are asked to review their access each year. 

How do I request access to UGAJobs?

To request access to UGAJobs, please complete the UGAJobs User Request Form

How do I request access to the UGA Financial Management System, the UGA Budget Management System or OneUSG Connect?

To request access to these systems, your supervisor must visit the Access Requests and Security Roles page. Please log in with your MyID and password. 

I approve time and absence requests in OneUSG Connect as part of my job duties. Do I need to complete user verification? 

Annual user verification only includes the Time and Absence Approver role. Users that are assigned this role are alternate approvers of time and absences to the Reports-To Manager/Supervisor role.

If you are a Reports-To Manager, you do not have to complete user verification.

If you are designated as a Time and Absence Approver, you must complete user verification.

What if I have been specified as a supervisor of a user who has access to one of the systems in scope?

If you are a supervisor, you must complete the user verification process by providing justification for the user's continued access to systems in scope. You will be asked to verify that they still need access to this information. 

Please follow the steps outlined in the article, Supervisors: How to Verify Employee Access to Banner and OneSource Systems, to approve or deny access for your employees. 

If you do not complete the process, your employees' access to systems will be revoked. 

What if I am not the owner of the ID?

What if I am not the supervisor/manager?

If you receive a request to approve access for an employee whom you do not manage or supervise, please complete the Supervisor Change Form

I received a notice to verify access for someone besides myself? What should I do? 

If you are a supervisor, you will be asked to verify access to systems for employees under your purview. You will receive an email from notify@teamdynamixapp.com asking you to verify their access. If you have multiple employees under your purview with access to multiple systems, you will receive multiple emails. 

To verify access for employees under your purview, follow the steps outlined in the article, Supervisors: How to Verify Employee Access to Banner and OneSource Systems.

I don't need access for all the roles listed. What should I do if I only need to keep some of my access? 

If you only need to keep some of your access, please select Yes, access is needed. Then, ask your supervisor to complete the Banner Request Access Form or the OneSource access form to request removal of the roles you no longer need access for. 

I did not receive a notice to verify my access. Do I still need to complete the process? 

No. Not all users of Banner, OneUSG Connect, the UGA Financial Management System or UGAJobs are required to verify their access to these systems. 

All UGA employees have self-service access to OneUSG Connect and the UGA Financial Management System, but only those users with access to functionality above the base employee roles are required to review and verify that their access is still appropriate.

If your profile is view-only, or only allows basic employee and manager approvals and access, you may not be asked to verify. 

I received a notice to verify my access, but all of my roles are not listed. Do I need to verify access for all of my roles? 

Not all the roles in Banner, OneUSG Connect, the UGA Financial Management System or UGA Jobs require annual verification. For example, basic employee and manager approvals and access may not require verification from you.

What if I miss the deadline for annual user verification? 

If you do not respond, your access will be revoked.

If you need to restore your access to Banner applications, contact Access Services at 706-542-4000. Upon proper justification, access can be restored within a reasonable period of time.

If you need to restore your access to OneSource applications, ask your supervisor to submit a new access request through the Access Requests and Security Roles page.

What should I do if I am concerned the email I receive is a phishing scam and I don't want to click the link? 

If you are concerned about clicking links in the email you receive from notify@teamdynamixapp.com, you can contact Access Services to confirm the email is legitimate. 

You can also complete user verification by visiting the My Approvals page in TeamDynamix.

Log in with your MyID and password. You will see a Dashboard. To see only Your Approvals, uncheck Include Pending Group Assignments and Search.

Click on the Step to complete the verification process.
