Supervisors: How to Verify Employee Access to Banner and OneSource Systems

If you are required to approve your employees' access to Banner or OneSource systems for the coming year, you will receive an email from notify@teamdynamixapp.com alerting you to do so. 

You will receive an email for each employee you must verify access for. Note: If an employee you supervise has access to both Banner and OneSource systems, you will receive multiple emails for that employee.

Each email will include a link to view the employee's access to those systems and a link to verify their access to those systems.

How to view an employee's access to Banner or OneSource systems

To view an employee's access to Banner or OneSource systems, in the email, click EMPLOYEE'S NAME Access. You will be prompted to log in with your MyID and password.

Once you are logged in, a new screen will appear. Scroll down to view your employee's access.

How to verify an employee's access to Banner or OneSource systems 

To verify an employee's access in Banner or a OneSource system, in the email, click Verify System Name Access - Supervisor Review. You will be prompted to log in with your MyID and password.

Once you log in, you'll be taken to a new screen to approve or deny an employee's access.

Click Yes, Access is Needed if:

  • Your employee needs to maintain access to all the listed systems
  • Your employee needs to maintain access to some, but not all of the listed systems. You will also need ot complete the Banner Request access form or the OneSource access form to request roles that need to be removed.

Click No, Access is not needed if:

  • Your employee no longer needs access to the listed systems. 

Click Wrong Supervisor if:

  • You are not employee's supervisor You will have the option to enter the correct supervisor in a comments box. 

After choosing, you will be taken to a new screen, where you will have the option to put in comments. If you chose Wrong Supervisor please enter the name and MyID of the correct supervisor here. Then click Save

User access verification for that employee is now complete.

You can view pending approvals for all your employees on the My Approvals page. To view only Your Approvals, uncheck Include Pending Group Assignments, then Click Search.

Click on the Step to complete the verification process.
