Once you have ensured your device meets the minimum requirements to run Content 7 (Perceptive Content), use the following instructions to upload documents.
First, open Perceptive Content and log in with your MyID and password.

To upload documents, you can drag them into Perceptive Content. This is the typical way of uploading documents.

Dragging the documents into Perceptive Content will open a menu.
Note: Don't use the Capture button on the main menu. If you want to use the Capture button, please submit a Content 7 support request for assistance setting it up.

You can find the application plans available to you in the drop down menu under Application Plan. Your department determines the Application Plans and how the Properties Fields are configured in the Application Plans.
Fill out the Properties Fields through Field4. Your department determines how these fields are configured, and some may be left empty. In general, property fields are required, unless your department has specified otherwise.
Field5 is a unique ID field and will auto-populate with the required information. The unique ID prevents documents from being considered the same even if you upload similar documents.
Click OK. Your document has been uploaded to Content 7.
You can find your document in the Application Plan you placed it in. To access your uploaded document, return to the main menu.

Click Documents to open the Document Viewer.
In the Document Viewer, go to the Views window on the left side of the screen. Click the View associated with your application plan.

Your newly uploaded document should appear within the screen.
If you've uploaded more than 500 documents, use Filters or request that the View sort by the latest uploaded documents to find your document.
