Considering the growing threat of cyberfraud targeting sensitive employee data, the OneUSG Connect team is increasing security to help keep your personal information safe. The following security measures have been put in place to protect your data.

Employees must be connected to a UGA Campus network in order to update direct deposit and personal data in OneUSG Connect.

Real-time verification of bank routing and account numbers will be performed by a third-party fraud prevention service before direct deposit changes are accepted.

Certain banks cannot be added directly to OneUSG Connect and require an additional level of verification. For those updates, the UGA Payroll Office will need to make the system update on the employee’s behalf and will schedule a meeting to verify the employee’s identity before making the changes.
Employees should attempt to update their direct deposit information directly through OneUSG Connect. Please follow the instructions outlined in this tutorial.
If you are unable to connect to a campus network or receive either of the system generated pop up messages below when attempting to add your direct deposit, click “Submit Request” to the right and complete the form to notify payroll. Payroll will follow up to verify your identity and request additional documentation. Once your identity has been verified, payroll can update your direct deposit on your behalf.
