Important Notice:
In order to update your Direct Deposit Information in OneUSG Connect, you must be physically present on UGA’s network. If you receive a message in OneUSG Connect that your information cannot be updated due to not being on UGA’s network, please ensure you are connected to the correct network before trying again.
As an additional layer of security, certain banks cannot be added directly to OneUSG Connect and require an additional level of verification. For those updates, the UGA Payroll Office will need to make the system update on your behalf, and will schedule a meeting to verify your identity before making the changes.
For Regular Direct Deposit Updates:
Most employees should update their direct deposit information directly through OneUSG Connect. Please follow the instructions outlined in this tutorial. Also, please ensure you are physically present on UGA’s network before attempting to make the update. If you are unable to be physically present on UGA’s network, please click “Submit Request” to the right and complete the form to notify payroll. Payroll will follow up to verify your identity and request additional documentation.
For Direct Deposit Updates Requiring Additional Security:
If an employee attempts to change their direct deposit to certain identified banks with increased risk of payroll fraud, the system will not allow the banking information to be saved. Instead, a system-generated pop-up note will instruct the employee to contact the institution HR/payroll office to make the change (see message below). If you received this message, please click “Submit Request” to the right and complete the form to notify payroll. Payroll will follow up to verify your identity and request additional documentation.
