How do I verify ownership of a departmental MyID account during the annual process?

If you are the primary owner of the Departmental MyID account, you will receive an email from EITS Access Service at notify@teamdynamixapp.com with instructions to verify ownership. This walk-through gives complete instructions for the verification process. 

What is the deadline to verify my departmental MyID account? 

For 2024, the departmental MyID verification process closes December 6, 2024. The primary owner must complete the verification process before that time.

Note: Any unclaimed accounts will be disabled. If the account has a mailbox, the emails will be deleted. If this account is for web service, disabling the account can disrupt services.  

I received an email about verifying a departmental MyID I do not own. What should I do? 

If you are no longer the owner of the departmental MyID, please click the link in the email, Click here to verify the ownership and the information below, and sign in with your personal MyID and password. On the verification screen, select I do not own this account. (Please give new full name and email of person in comments on next page.)

A new screen will display. In the comment box provided, please enter the full name and a UGA email address of the person you believe owns the account. If you do not know who owns the account, provide any information which can help direct EITS Access Services.

If an owner isn’t identified by December 6, 2024, the account will be marked for deactivation. 

What should I do if the account information changes after I completed the review?

Please have the primary Departmental MyID account owner on file submit a EITS ticket to update your account information throughout the year.  This will help with future account reviews.  If the account owner is not available, a Department Head or Dean may put in the request in their place.  You can submit your request by emailing adminfo@uga.edu.

What happens to the account if I don't respond by the deadline?

How do I know if I've completed the verification process? 

You can see your pending and completed verifications by visiting the My Approvals page in the EITS Client Portal. Log in with your personal MyID and password. Search for approvals titled Verify ownership of your Departmental MyID account. If they are still pending, you can click on the Title to start the verification process.
