Enrolling an Employee's Biometric Data on Time Clock Plus

This article explains how to enroll an employee's biometric information (fingerprint) on the TCP Punch Clock.

 

  1. Step 1

1. To access the screen to enroll an employee’s biometric fingerprint, touch the Hide button on the main screen.

 

  2. Step 2

2. Next, touch the Gear icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

  3. Step 3

3. Next, touch the Configure button at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Step 4

4. Enter the Administrator User ID and Password, and touch the OK button. 

  5. Step 5

5. Touch the Biometrics button.

  6. Step 6

6. Type the employee’s badge number in the ID field, and touch the Ok button.

  7. Step 7

7. The corresponding employee information is displayed.

Verify the employee’s name, and touch the “Enroll” button at the bottom of the screen.

8. Review disclaimer and touch the Accept button.

  9. Step 9

9. Touch any finger on the diagram to enroll.

NOTE: When enrolling a fingerprint, each entry must be to a different option (1-5) and does not need to correspond to the same finger on your hand.

  10. Step 10

10. Have the employee place their finger on the reader.

11. Follow prompts on the screen.

12. The clock will notify you once enrollment is complete. Touch "Enroll” to enroll additional fingerprints. You can test the enrollment by touching the “Test” icon and following the prompts on the screen.

Once complete, touch the Done button.

  13. Step 13

13. To enroll another employee, enter the appropriate information in the ID field.

To go back to the main screen of the clock, touch the Hide button.

  14. Step 14

14. To return to the Configuration menu, touch the Close button. 

  15. Step 15

15. To exit the system, touch the Exit button. 

  16. Step 16

16. Touch the Select button to return to the main screen and allow employees to log in.

17. You are returned to the clock's main screen, and employees can clock in.
