Entering Time via Manual Entry with Multiple Jobs

This article will walk you through the steps to enter time via manual entry method when you have multiple jobs.

In this article, you will learn the steps to manually enter your time for multiple jobs in OneUSG Connect.

1. Step 1

Time and absense tile selected on oneusg page

First, log into OneUSG Connect.

From Employee Self Service homepage in OneUSG Connect, click the Time and Absence tile.

2. Step 2

Time entered on weekly timesheet tile or report time tile

The Time page is displayed.

Time should be entered using the Weekly Timesheet Tile, unless you are reporting hours from your phone in which you will need to use the Report Time Tile.

3. Step 3

You would only use the Report Time Tile if you are reporting hours from your phone. In that case, you can follow the training entitled, Entering Your Time Manually via Your Mobile Phone, for steps on how to do this.

4. Step 4

select another job under personal information selected

To enter time for the appropriate job, click the Select a Job link.

5. Step 5

Change job selection page shown

A job selection popup is displayed.

Select the appropriate job to enter time.

6. Step 6

Selected job and corresponding department displayed

The selected job and corresponding department are displayed. You can use the department information to verify you have selected the appropriate job.

Note: The selected job is not active on the timesheet until applied.

7. Step 7

Weekly timesheet tile selected

With the appropriate job selected, click the Weekly Timesheet tile.

8. Step 8

Time in field selected

The Enter Time page is displayed.

Enter the time you started working in the In field for the corresponding date.

Example shown here: "900" into the Monday - In time field.

9. Step 9

time out field selected

Enter the time you stopped working in Out field for the corresponding date.

Example shown here: "1100" into the Monday - Out time field.

10. Step 10

Time in field new day shown

Enter the time you started working in the In field for the subsequent date.

Example shown here: "900" into the Tuesday - In time field.

11. Step 11

lunch break tile selected

If you take a meal break, enter the start time in the Lunch field for the corresponding date.

Example shown here: "1200 " into the Tuesday - Lunch time field.

12. Step 12

Return from break time in tile selected

Enter the return time in the second In field for the corresponding date.

Example shown here: "1230" into the Tuesday - In time field.

13. Step 13

time out field selected

Enter the time you left for the day in the Out field for the corresponding date.

Example shown here: "1800" into the Tuesday - Out time field.

14. Step 14

Time reporting code selected (leave blank)

The Time Reporting Code should be left blank.

15. Step 15

continue repeating these steps as needed

Repeat the steps as necessary to enter the appropriate times worked. 

16. Step 16

submit button selected

Click the Submit button.

17. Step 17

message displayed indicating your timesheet has been submitted

A message is displayed indicating your timesheet was submitted.
