Supervisors and Time & Absence Approvers can enter time for punch time employees. They also have the functionality in OneUSG Connect to address an employee's missed punches.
Best practice for missed punches:
1) If it is the same day, the employee should record a punch then have the manager edit it.
2) If it is the next day, the manager can add the correct punch to the timesheet.
In this article, you will learn the steps to enter time for a punch time employee as a time approver in OneUSG Connect.
First, log into OneUSG Connect.
From the Time Approver Self Service homepage in OneUSG Connect, click the Team Time tile.
The Team Time page is displayed with options to search for the appropriate employee(s).

The Filters menu is displayed.
Enter the appropriate information in the available search field(s).

Select the appropriate employee from the returned search results.

Click the Done button.
The Team Time page is displayed with the searched employee.
Chose the appropriate employee in the Name/Title field to access their timesheet.

The Weekly Timesheet page is displayed.
Enter the employee's arrival time in the In field.
Note: You can enter time with a colon and AM/PM or use military time.

Enter the employee's departure time in the Out field.

Enter the employee's arrival time in the In field for the next appropriate date.

If the employee took a meal break, enter the time out for meals in the Lunch field.

Enter the return time from lunch in the In field.

At the end of shift, enter the time in the Out field.

Enter appropriate information for additional date(s) in the time entry fields as needed.
Note: The Time Reporting Code can be left blank.
Once all time information is entered, click the Submit button.
The time is submitted to approval workflow, and a confirmation message is displayed.
