You have the option to save your work to your computer, OneDrive, or other location.
In this article, you will learn the steps to save an Excel Workbook.
In an Excel workbook, click the File tab.
If the Save As page is not already displayed, click the Save As link on the left side of the page.
On the Save As page, use the displayed options to find the the location on your computer, on OneDrive, or other location where you want to save your workbook.
Example shown here: the Desktop folder.
To save the item to your desktop, click the Desktop option.
Enter an appropriate name for your workbook in the File name: field, then confirm the Save as type: field is set to Excel Workbook .
Click the Save button.
