Saving an Excel Workbook

You have the option to save your work to your computer, OneDrive, or other location.

   Instructions   

  1. Step 1: In an Excel workbook, click the File tab.
  2. Step 2: If the Save As page is not already displayed, click the Save As link on the left side of the page.
  3. Step 3: On the Save As page, use the displayed options to find the the location on your computer, on OneDrive, or other location where you want to save your workbook.
  4. Step 4To save the item to your desktop, click the Desktop option.
  5. Step 5Enter an appropriate name for your workbook in the File name: field, then confirm the Save as type: field is set to Excel Workbook .
  6. Step 6Click the Save button.

In an Excel workbook, click the File tab.
