Working with Budget Journals

   Overview   

A budget journal is how you do a budget transaction.  You will use a budget journal if you are moving money for budgeting purposes between accounts/funds/budget lines.  Budget journals are for new funds, while budget transfers are to transfer existing money.  This would be used for things that impact budgets or budget checking.

 

Course Description: A course covering how to manage your budgets using tools found in the UGA Financial Management and UGA Budget Management Systems. Topics include creating, reviewing, and submitting online and spreadsheet budget journals and budget transfers.  Course formerly known as Working with Budget Journals.
