Use the UGA_TE_TA_PENDING_SUBMISSION query link in the Business Management Workcenter to check on the travel authorizations pending submission in your department or unit.
You can also access this query using Query Viewer, accessed from the tile on the UGA Financials homepage.
In this article you will learn how to run the UGA_TE_TA_PENDING_SUBMISSION query to find the travel authorizations from your department that have been created but not submitted for approval.
First, log into the Financial Management System
Click the Classic Home tile.
To navigate to the Business Management Workcenter , select:
Main Menu > UGA > Business Management Workcenter
Click the Reports/Queries tab.
In the Expense Report section, click the Entry - Pending User Submission link.
The parameters for the UGA_TE_TA_PENDING_SUBMISSION query are displayed.
This search uses Department ID. You can search using an entire ID number, or you can search for departments using a partial ID number by inserting a % sign as a wildcard. For example, 17% would return all departments starting with 17.
Leave only the % sign in the field if you want to view all departments.

Click the View Results button to run the query.
The results of the query are displayed.
Note : Data has been masked to protect employee information.
Results include the name of the employee who is planning to travel; the ID and description assigned to the TA; the status of the document; the dates of creation, submission and resubmission dates of the TA; and the travel destination.
Click on the hyperlinked travel authorization ID number to display the original transaction in view only mode.

This page shows the amount the employee needs to have authorized and states the purpose of the travel.
For further review of this expense report, click the Travel Authorization Details link on the right side of the page.
The top of the details page shows the name of the traveler, the destination, the dates and description of the travel and the Travel Authorization ID.
The Projected Expenses section lists the items submitted on this travel authorization.
Click the Expand Accounting Lines arrow to open the accounting details for any line on a report.
After review, you can return to the summary version of the report.
When you have finished your review of the TA information, close the page by clicking the Close Tab button.
You can export the report to an Excel Spreadsheet.
Click the Excel SpreadSheet link and follow the prompts to open as an Excel document.
The report is opened in an Excel spreadsheet. You can insert filters to help you sort information.
Click the Close button when you are finished to return to the TA View page.
