A query has been built to view a budget for a specific grant. This lets you see all of the ChartFields that are in the budget chartstring. The query is named UGA_GM_BUDGET_BY_CFS.
You can access this query from the Grants WorkCenter or use Query viewer to run the query.
In this article, you will learn how to view the budgeted Chartstrings assigned to your grant.
First, log into the Grants Portal.
You will use the Classic menu navigation to the Grants WorkCenter.
Use the following navigation to the Grants WorkCenter.
Main Menu > Grants > Grants WorkCenter
Click the Reports/Queries tab to see a list of the queries and reports that can be run in the Grants WorkCenter.
The Queries are listed at the top of the page.
Click the Grant Budget Chartfields link.
If you know all or part of the Project ID , you can enter the information in the Project field.
You can search for the Project ID using wildcard. The search wildcards are "_" for a single character and "%" for multiple characters.
Enter appropriate information into the Project field.

Click the View Results button.
The results show the Projects that match the criteria.
Note: If you have more than one project listed and only want to review one, identify the one you want, highlight it and use your browser controls to copy the project ID.
Right-click the appropriate Project ID.

Click the Copy menu.
Use keyboard shortcuts or browser controls to paste the copied content into the Project field.
Click the Minimize Grants WorkCenter button to see the entire report.
The entire report is displayed. You can see all of the ChartFields in the budgeted Chartstrings.
If you need to print the report, you can right-click anywhere on the report to activate the browser menu. You can then select Print Preview or Print.
Use navigation controls to resize your report, if needed.
Click the Print Document button or press Alt+P.
Click the Print button.
Additional information:
There is one parameter to search. You will need to enter all or part of the Project ID that identifies the Grant. Remember that if you only know part of the ID, you can use wildcards in your search ("_" for a single character, "%" for multiple characters).
After you run the report, review the information to make sure that the chartstrings are correct. If you need to add additional departments to split the funds, follow the existing process for updating a sponsored project budget via the Grants Portal: You m n.
