Approving a Position Modification

This article will walk you through the steps to take actions on position requests.

In this article, you will learn the steps to take action on position requests.

Note: Data has been masked throughout the document to protect employee information.

1. Step 1

First log into https://www.ugajobsearch.com/hr/sessions/new

In the UGAJobs Positions module, click the Position Descriptions drop-down button.

2. Step 2

Select the appropriate link from the available options.

Example shown here: click the Staff Position Requests list item.

The Staff Position Requests page is displayed.

You can search for a position request using a keyword or view your Saved Searches.

Click the Saved Searches drop-down list to view your saved searches.

4. Step 4

Click the (Global) - Department list item.

Your saved searches are displayed. Click the appropriate Working Title link.

After reviewing the request, click the User Group drop-down list.

Click the Approver list item.

When you are ready to approve, click the Submit (move to Central HR) link.

The Take Action window is displayed. You can enter any comments to the Comments field.

Click the Submit (move to Central HR) link.
