When you receive an email indicating that a ChartField request has been denied, you cannot see the comments as to why this is denied in the email itself. To review the comments from the approver who denied the request, you will need to go into the original request transaction.
In this article, you will learn how to access a ChartField request that has been denied in order to review the comments.
First, log into the Financial Management System.
On the UGA Financials homepage, click the General Ledger tile.
You will begin from the same page where the requests are initiated.
Click the Chartfield Request link.
To search for a request that has already been submitted, click the Find an Existing Value tab.
Click the Collapse menu button to make your workspace larger.
Click the Clear button to clear the existing parameters.
If you have copied the Request ID from the denial email, use that to open the denied request..
If you do not have the Request ID, you can use any combination of the remaining fields to locate the request.
