Searching for a Converted Account by PS Project ID

   Overview   

You can view converted project information in the Grants Portal using the PS Project ID. A search using the PS Project ID will return all associated Award (AWD) and Modification (MOD) documents.

Note: Prior to 07/01/2018, each increment of funding received a new AWD number. After 07/01/2018, modifications (with MOD numbers) are used instead to indicate new awards.

   Instructions   

  1. Step 1: On the UGA Grants Portal login page, enter your MyID and password in the appropriate fields. Click the Login button.
  2. Step 2: To search by PS Project ID, click the Award Increments link.
  3. Step 3: Under the Award Increments section, click the Search drop-down menu.
  4. Step 4: Click the PS Project ID link.
  5. Step 5: Enter the appropriate PS Project ID into the Award Increments search field.
  6. Step 6: Click the Go button.
  7. Step 7: Click the corresponding ID to view information for the project.
  8. Step 8: The FP workspace is displayed. The top section shows a summary of the project information, including Principle Investigator (PI), start and end dates, Management Unit, etc.

  11. Step 11: Scroll down the page to see associated awards. You can click on any of the Award IDs to view additional details.
  12. Step 12: Click the Modification ID number to view additional details.
  13. Step 13The corresponding award modification workspace is displayed. Here you can view detailed information about each modification that has been granted to the award.

In this article, you will learn how to use the PS Project ID to locate information on a converted account within the UGA Grants Portal.

1. Step 1

First, log into the Grants Portal.

On the UGA Grants Portal login page, enter your MyID and password in the appropriate fields.

Click the Login button.

The Grants Portal homepage is displayed. 

 

To find as much information as possible about a converted account, you want to search for the account by PS Project ID.

To search by PS Project ID, click the Award Increments link.

The Award Increments page is displayed.

Under the Award Increments section, click the Search drop-down menu.

The Award Increments Search dropdown menu displays a list of items with which you can search for a project.

Using the PS Project ID will return all associated Award (AWD) and Modification (MOD) documents.

Click the PS Project ID link.

Enter the appropriate PS Project ID into the Award Increments search field.

Note : The % sign can be used as a "wildcard" to return partial matches. For example, RXXR% would return all projects with PS Project IDs starting with RXXR.

Click the Go button.

The search results are displayed. All awards associated with the PS Project ID are displayed in the Award Increments section.

Click the corresponding ID to view information for the project.

The Award Workspace is displayed. The Award Workspace includes summary information about the specific award that was processed in that AWD number.

Note: Prior to 07/01/2018, each increment of funding received a new AWD number. After 07/01/2018, modifications (with MOD numbers) are used within the Grants Portal instead to indicate new awards.

To see all awards and modifications associated with a project, you must navigate to the Funding Proposal (FP) Workspace. If necessary, scroll to view the Associated Project Files section.

Click on the corresponding FP number to the right of the Associated Project Files heading.

The FP workspace is displayed. 

The top section shows a summary of the project information, including Principle Investigator (PI), start and end dates, Management Unit, etc.

Scroll down the page to see associated awards. You can click on any of the Award IDs to view additional details.

Further down the page, the Award Modifications section contains information about modifications that have been completed.

Click the Modification ID number to view additional details.
