Campus Address: Updating an Employee's Campus Address

   Overview   

System Managers can update an employee's campus address in OneUSG Connect. 

   In this article, you will learn the steps to update an employee's campus address.

1. Step 1

The Employee Self Service page is displayed with the NavBar button highlighted.

First, log into OneUSG Connect

From the Employee Self Service page, click the NavBar  button.

2. Step 2

The NavBar is opened and the Menu button is highlighted.

Click the Menu button.

3. Step 3

The Menu is opened and the Workforce Administration menu is highlighted.

Click the Workforce Administration menu option.

4. Step 4

The Workforce Administration section is opened with the Personal Information menu highlighted.

Click the Personal Information menu option.

5. Step 5

The Personal Information section is opened with the Maintain EE Campus Address menu highlighted.

Click the Maintain EE Campus Address menu option.

6. Step 6

The BOR Campus Address page is displayed with the Add a New Value button highlighted.

The BOR Campus Address page is displayed.

Use the Add a New Value tab to enter address information if no results are returned for an Empl ID.

7. Step 7

The Empl ID field is highlighted.

You can search for an employee whose campus address you need to update by entering the employee's Empl ID in the Empl ID field.

8. Step 8

The Empl ID search button is highlighted.

It is best practice to enter the employee's Empl ID. If you leave the Empl ID field blank and click the lookup magnifying glass, the search process could take much longer in the system.

If you do not know the employee's Empl ID, enter search criteria to narrow the search. Most Empl IDs at UGA start with 18, so you could enter "18" into the field.

Click the lookup magnifying glass.

9. Step 9

The Look Up Empl ID pop-up is displayed with multiple search fields highlighted.

The Look Up Empl ID dialog box is displayed.

If you receive too many results, you can further narrow your search by using the various Name search fields at the top of the page.  

10. Step 10

The Look Up button is highlighted.

Once you have entered the appropriate information into the Name fields to narrow your results, click the Look Up button.

11. Step 11

Search results are displayed with the first result highlighted.

The search results are displayed. Click the employee's name.

12. Step 12

The BOR Campus Address page is displayed with the Search button highlighted.

You are returned to the Search Criteria page with the Empl ID entered.

Click the Search button.

13. Step 13

Search results are displayed with the first result highlighted.

The search results are displayed. 

Click the appropriate  Employee  link.

14. Step 14

The Maintain EE Campus Address page is displayed with the plus button highlighted.

The Maintain EE Campus Address page is displayed. The employee's Business Unit, Campus Building, Campus Address, and Room Number are listed in the Campus Address section.

To update the address, click the [+]  button in the top right corner of the Campus Address section.

15. Step 15

The *Business Unit search button is highlighted.

The Effective Date field defaults to today's date.

If the employee works at a Business Unit other than the University of Georgia, you can edit the Business Unit.

Click the Look up magnifying glass beside the Business Unit field.

16. Step 16

The Look Up Business Unit pop-up is displayed with the close button highlighted.

The Look Up Business Unit page is displayed. If needed, you can filter your search results by using the available Business Unit and Description fields.

Click the appropriate Busines Unit link, if needed.

17. Step 17

The Campus Building search button is highlighted.

To edit the Campus Building, click the Look up magnifying glass beside the Campus Building field .

18. Step 18

The Description dropdown menu is highlighted.

The Look Up Campus Building page is displayed. If needed, you can filter your results by using the available Campus Building Code and Description fields.

Click the drop-down menu beside the Description field.  

19. Step 19

The dropdown menu is opened with the "contains" option highlighted.

Click the contains list item.

20. Step 20

The Description field is highlighted.

In the Description field, enter " business ".

21. Step 21

The Look Up button is highlighted.

Click the Look Up button.

22. Step 22

Search results are displayed with the first result highlighted.

The Campus Building search results are displayed based on your filter preferences.

Select the appropriate Campus Building Code.

23. Step 23

The Room Number field is highlighted.

To enter a Room Number, type the employee's room number into the field.

24. Step 24

The Save button is highlighted.

Click the Save button.

25. Step 25

The Last Update Date/Time are highlighted.

The changes are saved along with the new the Last Update Date/Time information.
