Overview
This tutorial video is for UGAmart shoppers and requisitioners and approvers covers the unique process and considerations for chemical orders. Reviewing the ‘Shopping Checkout’ tutorial before this training is recommended.
Users can order both hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals in UGAmart. Once entered, these orders are reviewed by safety personnel and, if necessary, routed for hazardous chemical tracking in the Chematix system. The shopper and/or requisitioner are responsible for taking the appropriate steps to ensure that chemical orders are routed through the chemical review process correctly. This process, as well as user action, is integral to maintaining compliance and the safety and well-being of the UGA campus community.
