UGA employees with the Job Data role in OneUSG Connect can search for and view job data for employees, including compensation, employment record, Reports To information, and annual benefits base rate.
This is a high-level responsibility role, with view access to Job details. Departmental System Managers must enter a security request for an employee to gain access to this role, including a justification for why access is needed.

Data Field Definitions - Personal & Job Data Reference Aid
In this article, you will learn the steps to view job data for an employee. You can view this information if you have been provisioned the Job Data View role in OneUSG Connect.
First, log into the UGA Financial Management System.
On the Employee Self Service page, click the Nav Bar button.
Click the Menu button.
Click the Workforce Administration menu.
Click the Job Information link.
Click the Job Data link.
The Job Data search page defaults to the Find an Existing Value tab. You can use one or more search criteria options to refine your results, such as the Empl ID of an employee.
Click the Empl ID drop-down list.
You can select any of the other search operators listed to help limit the search results.
Example shown here: click the [=] list item to indicate that the search results should exactly match what you input in the search field.
Enter appropriate information into the search fields.

Once you enter the Empl ID, the employee's name will display.
Click the appropriate employee name link.

Click the Include History option.
Note: Include history will allow the view of historical rows of data. This option must be clicked to view this information.
Click the Search button.
The employee's Job Data page defaults to the Work Location tab. The top portion of data will be consistent throughout the Job Data pages. This includes the information about the row you are viewing. You can view the previous or next rows by clicking the arrows at the top right of the page.
Scroll down to click the Employment Data link.
The Employment Data page displays information about the employee's employment milestones. On this page, you can view information about the employee’s position number, HR Department, hire date, and benefits service date.
Once you have reviewed the Employment data for the employee, click the Earnings Distribution link.
The Earning Distribution page for the employee is displayed.
Note: OneUSG Connect does not utilize all PeopleSoft fields. It is currently not using the Job Earning Distribution for position funding, which is why the position number and combo code fields on this page are blank.
Click the Benefits Program Participation link.
The Benefit Program Participation page shows basic benefits information, including Annual Benefits Base Rate.
Note: Some of these fields are blank as OneUSG Connect does not utilize all the fields available in PeopleSoft.
Once you have reviewed the Benefits Program Participation information for the employee, click the Job Data link to go back to the Work Location tab.
You are back on the Work Location page.
Click the Job Information tab.
The Job Information tab is displayed. This page includes the employee's Reports To information. You can also see standard hours information at the bottom of this screen. Once again, OneUSG Connect is currently not using the contract functionality, so those fields should be blank.
Note: The Reports To information for the employee field comes from UGAJobs. If the information in OneUSG Connect and UGAJobs are ever out of sync, please submit a ticket to oneusgsupport@uga.edu.
Click the drop-down button to the left of the USA field.
The FSLA Status, EEO Class and the Work Day Hours for the employee are displayed.
On the Job Information page, click the Show next row [>] button to view the next page.
The second page for the Job Information page is displayed.
Click the Show next row [>] button.
The last page of the Job Information record is displayed for the employee.
Once you have reviewed the details, click the Payroll tab.
The Payroll page displays basic payroll information. This includes the employee’s paygroup and absence management enrollments.
Click the Salary Plan tab.
The Salary Plan tab is displayed.
Once you have reviewed the information, click the Compensation tab.
The Compensation page displays basic compensation information for the employee, including salary break downs and pay frequencies.
