Printing a Sheet or a Workbook in Excel

   Overview   

You have the option to print all or part of your workbook in Excel.

   Instructions   

  1. Step 1: From the ribbon menu, click the File tab.
  2. Step 2: Click the Print menu option to display the available printing options.
  3. Step 3: To print the entire workbook, click the Print Active Sheets button.
  4. Step 4: From the Settings dropdown list, click the Print Entire Workbook option.
  5. Step 5: Select the dropdown arrow next to the default printer to choose the printer you need.
  6. Step 6: From the expanded printer list, select the appropriate printer.
  7. Step 7: Click the Print button to send the entire workbook to the selected printer.
  8. Step 8: To print only part of the workbook, click the Print Entire Workbook button.
  9. Step 9: Click the Print Active Sheets option.
  10. Step 10: The Print Active Sheets button displays an option to enter the page numbers.
  11. Step 11: Enter the appropriate page number(s) in the To field.
  12. Step 12: Click the Print button to complete the process.

From the ribbon menu, click the File tab.

The Info page is displayed.

Click the Print menu option to display the available printing options.

3. Step 3

The Print page is displayed.

To print the entire workbook, click the Print Active Sheets button.

From the Settings dropdown list, click the Print Entire Workbook option.

Within the Printer section, select the dropdown arrow next to the default printer to choose the printer you need.

From the expanded printer list, select the appropriate printer.

Example shown here: click the HP LaserJet P4014/P4015 PCL6 option.

Click the Print button to send the entire workbook to the selected printer.

To print only part of the workbook, click the Print Entire Workbook button.

Click the Print Active Sheets option.

The Print Active Sheets button displays an option to enter the page number(s) for the appropriate range of active page(s) you want to print from the workbook.  

Example shown here: enter "1" in the Pages field to begin printing on page 1 displayed on the right side of the screen.

11. Step 11

To confirm the page or range of pages you want to print from your Workbook, enter the appropriate page number(s) in the To field.  

Example shown here: Enter "1" in the To field. This will print only page 1.

Click the Print button to complete the process.
