Updating Your Disability Status in OneUSG Connect

You can self-identify your disability status in OneUSG Connect Employee Self Service.

Important Note: This is only recorded for federal reporting purposes. Self-reporting disability status is not the same as requesting accommodations.

In this article, you will learn the steps to self-identify your disability status in OneUSG Connect.

1. Step 1

First, log into OneUSG Connect

On the Employee Self Service homepage in OneUSG Connect, click the Personal Details tile.

2. Step 2

The Personal Details page is displayed.

Click the Disability link in the left navigation menu.

3. Step 3

The Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability page is displayed.

Read the information displayed on the purpose of the process and types of disabilities.

4. Step 4

On the Direct Deposit page review the Changes to Personal Details warning.  You must be on a UGA network to make changes to this page. 

Click the Update Veteran Status button. Scroll down to view if necessary. 

Special Note

If you try to access or update the Disability Information page from an off campus network, a message is displayed instructing you to contact your Human Resources or Payroll representatives.

5. Step 5

The personal details tabs will pop-up on the left side of your screen. 

Review the information displayed. 

6. Step 6

Based on the information you read, select one of the options listed.

Example shown here: "No, I do not have a disability and have not had one in the past" option.

7. Step 7

Click the Submit button.

If you are sure you want to submit, click the OK button.
