Canceling an Absence Request as a Supervisor

Supervisors and Time & Absence Approvers can cancel absence requests in submitted or approved status for their employees to allow editing and resubmission or if taking leave is not needed.

In this article, you will learn the steps to cancel a leave request for an employee as a supervisor in OneUSG Connect.

1. Step 1

First, log into OneUSG Connect.

From the Manager Self Service homepage in OneUSG Connect, click the Team Time tile.

2. Step 2

Cancel Absences link selected

The Team Time page is displayed.

Click the Cancel Absences link.

3. Step 3

Name / Title / ID - Record link selected

The Cancel Absences page with all available employees is displayed.

Select the appropriate Name / Title / ID - Record link.

4. Step 4

view requests link selected

The Cancel Absences page for the selected employee is displayed with their absence requests.

Click the appropriate View Requests link.

5. Step 5

The selected absence details are displayed

The selected absence details are displayed.

6. Step 6

Comments field selected

If necessary, scroll to view additional information.

Enter appropriate justification for canceling the absence request into the Comments field.

7. Step 7

Cancel Absence button selected

The justification is displayed in the Comments field.

Click the Cancel Absence button.

8. Step 8

Yes button selected

A confirmation pop-up is displayed.

To proceed, click the Yes button.
