Submission Steps:
If you require further information regarding the exception request process, please contact Kathy Ortstadt’s administrative support for guidance.
Prior to submission: Fundraisers may choose to consult with colleagues (e.g., Brooks, Jan, Graff, Danielle, Jeremy) to assess viability and interpretation before submitting an exception for approval.
Step 1: Submit for initial review and viability discussions. Email responses to the above to Brooks McCommons, Jan Blaine, Danielle Free, and Kathy Bangle. Copy Brittany Rider, Elizabeth Prince, Jennifer Hancock, Erica Owensby, Lauren Schlesinger, and Jason Burdette.
Step 2: Brooks or Jan will advance to Kathy Ortstadt and Jeremy Ransom for review.
Step 3: Kathy or Jeremy will advance to Jill Walton for approval when applicable. Copy Jason Burdette.
Step 4: Jill responds to Kathy and Jeremy when applicable. Decision is then forwarded by Kathy’s administrative support to everyone above. Approved requests are maintained in the fund file for future reference. If Jill’s approval is not required, Kathy or Jeremy will complete this step.
Note: Jason Burdette is filling in for Kathy Ortstadt’s new position until it is filled.
