UGA Kaltura: How to Download Your Recordings

Before You Begin

Downloading a recording creates a copy of the video on your computer. You must be the owner of the media or have permission to download it.

Note: Some recordings may not have downloading enabled. If the Download option is unavailable, please contact the College of Pharmacy IIT Help Desk for assistance.

Step 1: Sign In to Kaltura

1. Open a web browser.
2. Navigate to UGA Kaltura.
3. Sign in using your UGA MyID credentials.

Step 2: Open My Media

1. Select My Media from the top navigation menu.
2. Your personal media library will display all recordings and videos that you own.

Step 3: Locate Your Recording

1. Use the search box to find a specific recording.
2. Alternatively, browse through your media library until you locate the recording you wish to download.

Step 4: Open the Recording

1. Click the title or thumbnail of the recording.
2. The media player page will open.

Step 5: Download the Recording

1. Click the Actions menu located below the video player.
2. Select Download.
3. If multiple formats are available, choose the desired format.
4. Your browser will begin downloading the file to your computer.

Step 6: Verify the Download

1. Open your computer's Downloads folder.
2. Confirm the video file was successfully downloaded.
3. Move the file to another location if desired for long-term storage.
