The new UGA Network Service Program (UGA NSP) model provides a pricing and billing model for network support services for UGA departments. The model is based on a department's number of full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, with some adjustments for Trades Workers.
General EITS Policies
The unit should select one member of their staff to serve as their Departmental Network Liaison (DNL) with EITS. The DNL:
- Serves as the technical point of contact between the unit and EITS.
- Provides feedback, as needed, on the services provided by EITS.
- Has other responsibilities defined in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
EITS is committed to providing excellent service. In this rapidly changing technical environment it is impossible to maintain a high level of technical excellence without employing a sound technical training strategy. EITS recognizes this need, therefore we encourage EITS NOC personnel to maintain industry certifications and regularly attend relevant training courses.
