Team owners can add departmental files and folders to Teams storage.
As the owner of the Team, open the Microsoft teams app. Select Teams from the left-hand side.
Select the Team you want to add the Departmental Account to.
Click the 3 dots to the right of the Team.
A drop-down list will appear. Choose Add Member.
A new window will appear. In the Type name or email box, type the departmental email address. Click on your departmental account, then click Add.
You have now added your Departmental Email account to your Team.
Open up a browser, visit ugamail.uga.edu and sign in with your departmental account.
Once signed in, navigate to your departmental OneDrive. From OneDrive, right-click the file or folder you want to transfer to your Team storage and click Move to. When you click Move to you will have an option to move that file or folder to the Team of your choice.
