In this article, you will learn the steps to view and sign a faculty contract from the Faculty Data Self Service page in OneUSG Connect.

This article walks you through the steps to view and sign your faculty contracts from the Faculty Data Self Service page in OneUSG Connect. After signing electronically, there is no need to print and return a copy of your contract. You can also follow these steps to locate your signed contract for later viewing.

Note: Microsoft Edge is NOT recommended for use with OneUSG Connect.

In this article, you will learn the steps to view and sign a faculty contract from the Faculty Data Self Service page in OneUSG Connect.

1. Step 1

First, log into OneUSG Connect.

Click the drop-down arrow next to the Employee Self Service menu. 

2. Step 2

Click the Faculty Data Self Service link.

Click the Faculty Contracts tile.

Note: Only faculty who are issued contracts will see the Faculty Contracts tile on this page.  Accordingly, the tile will not be visible for part-time, limited-term, and other faculty not on annual contracts.

4. Step 4

The Faculty Contracts page is displayed. Under the message to faculty, you will see a table showing current contracts available to view with columns for Fiscal Year, Contract Type, and the Status of the contract for the employee.

To view the contract, click the View Contract button.

5. Step 5

The contract is displayed in a separate browser window as a pdf document. Note your name as it appears in the contract. You will need to use this exact name to sign your contract later.

Scroll down the page to view the entire contract.

6. Step 6

Once you are done reviewing the document, you can close this window to get back to the Faculty Contracts page.

7. Step 7

You are returned to the Faculty Contracts page. 

To sign the contract, click the Sign Contract button.

8. Step 8

The Sign Contract window is displayed. To sign the contract, type your name into the Name field exactly as it appears in your contract.

Example shown here: "James Monroe".

Note: Your name should be exactly as it appears in the contract.

9. Step 9

Click the Save button.

10. Step 10

A message is displayed that the page is being saved and the Sign Contract button is unavailable.
