Running Summer Pay Queries in OneUSG Connect

In this article, you will complete the steps to access and navigate the Summer Pay query page in OneUSG Connect.

   Overview   

The Summer Pay queries page contains a number of resources for working with summer pay related information in OneUSG.  This tutorial shows how to access the page and the related information contained there.

In this article, you will complete the steps to access and navigate the Summer Pay query page in OneUSG Connect.

1. Step 1

First, log into OneUSG Connect.                         

On the OneUSG Connect Manager Self Service Home page, click the System Manager Reporting link.

The System Manager Reporting page is displayed.

To reach the Summer Pay Queries page, click the Payroll link.

Click the Summer Pay Queries option.

The Summer Queries Pay page is displayed. The queries on this page have been created to provide information about Summer Pay related transactions.

The queries are categorized based on the type of data returned in each.

Row one queries provide information used to identify those eligible for Summer Pay and calculating those amounts.

The Summer Pax Max Calc Query allows you to return job data for maximum Summer Pay amounts and is used when you are preparing to enter data on the Summer Pay page.

Click the Summer Pay Max Calc Query link.

To narrow results, enter the appropriate information the search fields. Blank search fields will return all available results.

Click the View Results button.

The Summer Pay results are displayed, providing employee information and job details. If necessary, scroll to the right to see all page information.

To view additional job data for an employee, select the corresponding row under the View Job Data column.

The Job Data Page is displayed. You can view additional details by using the tabs at the top of the page.

On the System Manager Reporting page, the Faculty Position Info Query returns job data for fulltime and part time faculty that are not in your department but will work in your unit in the upcoming summer.

Click the Faculty Position Info Query link.

To view data for fulltime faculty (18F) outside of your department, enter the appropriate information in the search Pay Group field to limit the results.

Click the View Results button.

The search results are displayed, providing job information on fulltime faculty. If necessary, scroll to the right of the page to view all information.

To view data for part time faculty outside of your department, enter 18P in the Pay Group field.

Click the View Results button.

The search results are displayed, providing job information on part time faculty outside of your department. If necessary, scroll to the right of the page to view all information.

On the System Manager Reporting page, the 18P Faculty Approved for Summer Query allows you to return job data for part time faculty that have been approved for Summer Pay for the current year for the months of May, June, and July.

Click the 18P Faculty Approved for Summer Query link.

To view data for part time faculty, enter the appropriate information in the search field(s) to limit the results.

Click the View Results button.

The search results are displayed. If necessary, scroll to the right of the page to view all information.

Once Summer Pay amounts have been entered, the queries on the second row will allow you to verify the employees and amounts you submitted.

Summer Pay Entered by Month allows you to return a report of previously entered Summer Pay amounts.

Click the Summer Pay Entered By Month link.

To view Summer Pay data entered, enter the appropriate information in the search field(s) to limit the results.

Click the View Results button.

The search results are displayed, providing job information for employee(s) with previous Summer Pay request. If necessary, scroll to the right of the page to view all information.
