Reviewing My Projects in the UGA Financial Management System

   Overview   

The Costing module in the UGA Financial Management System allows you to view information relating to sponsored and non-sponsored projects, including budget total, funds remaining, and start and end dates.  This is a quick and easy way to access this information across all of the projects you have set up in My Projects.

This article explains the process of reviewing My Projects.

1. Step 1

First, log into the Financial Management System.

Click the Classic Home tile.

To navigate to the My Projects page, select:

Main Menu > Project Costing > My Projects

3. Step 3

The General   tab in the My Projects page is displayed. This tab displays information including the project status and the processing status of the project.

Click the Details tab.

4. Step 4

The Details tab is displayed. You can review information about the Project Manager, Project Type and the Start and End Date of the project.

Click the Amounts tab.

The Amounts tab is displayed with cost and budget information of the project.

Click the icon to go to the Project Valuation Search page.

On the Project Valuation search page, the Business Unit defaults to 18002 and the Project field defaults to the current project. Leave the remaining fields as displayed.

Click the Search button.

7. Step 7

The Project Valuation tab is display ed with Budget/Actuals Summary and Cost and Encumbrances.

Click the Activity Valuation tab.

8. Step 8

The Activity Valuation tab is displayed . Here you can view the different activities and the associated expenditure related to the project.
