Overview
The article will provide an overview of accessing the Accounts Receivable Workbench. The Accounts Receivable Workbench provides extended and detailed views of the information associated with the awards that you search. This article includes accessing the payments, items, aging, and contracts information tabs associated with the queried information.
In this article, you will view the Accounts Receivable Collections Workbench.

To navigate to the Accounts Receivable Collections Workbench page, select:
Main Menu > Accounts Receivable > Collections Workbench

The Collections Workbench page is displayed.
The SetID is required for the search criteria.
To locate the SetID Unit, click the lookup magnifying glass to the right of the SetID field or enter the SetID directly.
In the SetID field, enter " 18003 "

The Unit is required for the search criteria.
To locate the Unit, click the lookup magnifying glass to the right of the Unit field or enter the Unit directly.
Enter the appropriate information into the Unit field.
In the Unit field, enter " 18400 ".

Click the lookup magnifying glass to the right of the Customer field to search for a Customer ID.

The result list is displayed. Click the appropriate link.
Click the 000000000010025 link.

The Accounts Receivable Collections Workbench will provide information on billings, receipts, past due amounts and other information that will help you assess the risk and payment behavior of a sponsor.
This will provide information at the sponsor level as well as per contract.

The Credit Profile tab is displayed and will provide information on the risk and payment behavior of a sponsor.
|

The Payments tab is displayed. This tab shows information on the status of payments including Outstanding and Complete payments.

The Items page is displayed. This page displays credits and debits for the stated sponsored project.
For example, if the sponsor short paid an invoice, the difference would show in this tab.

The Aging tab is displayed. This tab provides the status of payments.
Note: The UGA Financial Management System is configured to post a payment to a specific receivable. This enables much better monitoring of receivables.

The Contracts tab is displayed.
From the Contracts tab, a user may open a window with contract summary information. One of the advantages of this feature is that it provides the PI’s department administrator with vital information. There will be cases that will require the combined effort of the department administrator and SPA to resolve collection issues.
