Overview

The Review Bill Detail function allows you to easily view the bill details without having to search and locate the initial bill. The bill details pages include name, address and contact information, header and line information, billing details, accounting information and any notes if entered.

Note : This article was recorded using sample values. Actual values may differ in the production version of the UGA Financial Management System.

1. Step 1

First, log into the Financial Management System.

Click the Classic Home tile.

2. Step 2

To navigate to the Details page, select:

Main Menu > Billing > Review Billing Information > Details

3. Step 3

The Bill Inquiry search page is displayed. Enter the appropriate information into the Business Unit field.

Example shown here: " 66001 " in the Business Unit field.

4. Step 4

Click the Search button.

5. Step 5

The Search Results are displayed beneath the Search Criteria.

Click the appropriate Invoice link.

6. Step 6

The Header - Info 1 page displays. This page can be used for you to review to make sure you have located the correct customer.

The bottom of the page includes various links that you can use to view further detail on the Bill. The pages that can be accessed using these links will be reviewed in this article.

Click the Line - Info 1 tab.

9. Step 9

The Line - Info 1 tab displays. The Bill Line section displays details by line item. The line item detail was entered when the Bill was created.

10. Step 10

To review Summary level information, click the Summary link.

11. Step 11

The Bill Summary info tab displays. This is another view of the Invoice information, but does not include the detail you just viewed on the Header - Info 1 page.

To view Address information, click the Address link.

12. Step 12

The Address Info tab is displayed. This page displays the customer associated with this invoice.

To view any notes that are included on the Invoice, click the Notes link.

The Header - Note page is displayed. The Header Note information that was entered when the Bill was created is displayed in the Bill Header Notes section in the Note Text field.

To view the Accounting detail, click the Line - Info 1 link located under the search button at the bottom of the page or the tab at the top of the page.

16. Step 16

From this page, you can click the Accounting link to view the Revenue Distribution detail.

17. Step 17

The Revenue Distribution page is displayed. The Bill Line Distribution - Revenue section provides the Accounting Information entered when the Bill was created.

18. Step 18

To review the accounting related to the AR side of the entry, click the drop-down arrow in the Acctg - Rev Distribution field.

19. Step 19

Click the Header - AR Distribution list item.

20. Step 20

The AR Distribution tab is displayed. The Acctg Information in the Bill Header Distribution - AR section displays the Accounting Code and Account information.
