   Overview   

This tutorial will walk you through cancelling your submitted/approved absence request. Cancelling a request is needed if you are no longer taking off or is the first step if you intend to edit the absence request.

In this article, you will learn the steps to cancel an approved absence request in OneUSG Connect.

1. Step 1

The Employee Self Service page is displayed with the Time and Absence tile highlighted.

First, log into OneUSG Connect.

From the Employee Self Service homepage in OneUSG Connect, click the Time and Absence tile.

2. Step 2

The Time page is displayed with the Cancel Absences tile highlighted.

The Time page is displayed.

Click the Cancel Absences link.

3. Step 3

The Cancel Absences page is displayed with the first row in the View Requests section highlighted.

The Cancel Absence page is displayed. This page will display the status of any absences that have been requested.

In the View Requests section of the page, select the appropriate absence to cancel.

4. Step 4

The Cancel Absence page is displayed with the Cancel Absence button highlighted.

The selected absence is displayed.

Click the Cancel Absence button.

5. Step 5

A confirmation pop-up is displayed with the Yes button highlighted.

Click the Yes button.

6. Step 6

The Cancel Absence page is displayed with the success message "Absence Request Canceled Successfully." and the Absence Details section highlighted.

A confirmation message stating, "Absence Request Canceled Successfully" is displayed, and the request is canceled.
