When an employee no longer needs security role access due to transfer or termination, a request can be submitted to revoke one or more of the security roles assigned.

In this article, you will learn the steps to revoke access in the UGA Financial Management System.

1. Step 1

First, log into the Financial Management System

From the UGA Financials homepage, click the Request Access  tile.

The Access Request Links page is displayed.

Click the UGA Financial Management System Access Request link.

The UGA Financials Access Request page is displayed.

Click the Add a New Value tab to create a new security request.

In the User ID field, enter the MyID of the employee for whom you want to revoke access.

The User IDs matching your search terms are displayed.

Select the appropriate user ID from the list.

Click the Add button.

Click the Access Billing Business Unit and View User's Roles drop-down to view the user's current role(s).

A list of the user's current security roles is displayed. 

Click the checkbox under Role Not Needed next to each security role that you want to revoke.

Once you have selected all the roles that you want to revoke for the user, click the CFO Approver drop-down list.

Click to select the appropriate user.

Once you have selected the CFO Approver, scroll down to enter your justification for revoking the roles for the user.

Click the Submit button.

Your request is submitted to workfl ow, and the related approval pools are displayed.
