Before you can log in to the UGA Financial Management System or the UGA Budget Management System, you will need to enroll in ArchPass Duo and then download and install Cisco AnyConnect (VPN) to the device you plan to use. These items provide UGA with a high level of security to keep information safe.
In this article, you will walk through the steps to enroll in ArchPass Duo and then download and install Cisco AnyConnect (VPN).
In your browser, type the web address for ArchPass: archpass.uga.edu
The EITS ArchPass page is displayed. From this page, you can enroll in ArchPass and learn more about ArchPass from the provided resources.
Scroll down and click on the Enroll Now button.
The CAS log in page is displayed. Enter your MyID and password, then click the LOGIN button.
The Duo Self Service Portal is displayed.
Follow the provided instructions to register your device.
Note: Your page may look different if you are already enrolled for ArchPass.
You will be asked for what type of device you intend to enroll. Mobile phone is listed as the recommended option.
Select the appropriate device.
With the device type selected, click the Continue button.

Upon selecting the mobile phone option, you will be prompted to enter your phone number. Enter your phone number into the Phone Number field.
With your phone numbered entered, click the Continue button.
To set a default authentication method, click the Login Default list.
Select a default method of authentication.
Click the Save button.
Next, you will need to download Cisco AnyConnect (VPN) on your device. You can download the software on the EITS website at https://eits.uga.edu/access_and_security/infosec/tools/vpn.
The Remote Access VPN page is displayed.
In the Download the VPN Client section, select the type of machine on which you to install the application.
Click the Save File button.
To access your downloads, click the Downloads button in your browser.
Open the installation file that you downloaded.
If needed, click the OK button to open the file.
The Cisco AnyConnect Set Up Wizard is displayed.
Click the Next button.
Read the License Agreement, then click the I accept the terms in the License Agreement option.
Click the Install button.
When installation is complete, click the Finish button.
Search for Cisco AnyConnect within your files or applications to run it.
