Overview
Whenever you move, you can change your address in Employee Self Service. Your address is reflected on items such as your paycheck or payment advice, as well as your W-2 form.
If for some reason you have a paper check mailed to you, the check would be sent to your home address and not your mailing address which is listed in the system.
As of October 12, 2024, you must be connected to a UGA Campus network to make changes to Personal Details information. Other connections are view only access. If you cannot connect from a campus network and need to make changes, please contact the UGA HR team

Note: Employee data has been masked or changed to protect employee identity.

From Employee Self Service, click the Personal Details tile.

Click the View Addresses button.
|
|

Your current address is listed.
On the Home Address page, review the Changes to Personal Details warning. You must be on a UGA network to make changes to this page.
Click the Update Addresses button.

If you try to access or update the Home Address page from an off campus network, a message is displayed instructing you to contact your Human Resources or Payroll representatives.

The Addresses page opens.
Click the Home Address link to edit.
|

The Change As Of field is used to enter the date the address change is effective. For this article example, leave the date as displayed.

Enter the appropriate information in the Address 1 field.
|
|
 |
Enter the appropriate information in the City field.
|
|
 |
Enter the appropriate information in the State field.
|
|
 |
Enter the appropriate information in the Postal field.
|
|
 |
|
Enter the appropriate information in the County field.
|
|
 |
|
Click the Save button.
|
|
 |
|
The updated address is displayed.
