In this article, you will learn how to use the controls within any Classic View search results list.

Overview
Search lists are returned when more than one record matches entered search criteria. The lists can be used to retrieve similar records for view or update.
The search pages for each component in the classic view provide criteria to limit records to use or allow you to retrieve the first 300 records in the database if you do not specify criteria.
In this article, you will learn how to use the controls within any Classic View search results list.

Navigate to the relevant page where you will conduct your search.
Example shown above: Main Menu > Travel and Expenses > Expense Report > View

The search page is displayed. There are many crtieria you can use to conduct and refine your search.

Click on the Search button to generate a Search List.
|

After clicking the Search button for any Classic View search, all available matches are displayed below the criteria in the Search Results section.
You can re-sort this list by clicking on any of the column headers to create an ascending or descending sort based on that column.

Click the Name column header to sort the list alphabetically by name.
Note: Employee information has been redacted for privacy.

The list is now sorted alphabetically by name.

Click the Report Status column header to sort the list alphabetically by report status.

The list is now sorted alphabetically by report status.

You can click on the dropdown menu at the top right of the search results table to navigate to a specific page.

Click the View All link to display all search results on one page.
|
|
 |
All search results will be displayed. Scroll down to view if necessary.

Click the View 10 link to display only the first 10 search results.
|
|
 |
Click the >| button to scroll to the very last page of search results.
|
|
 |
The very last page of search results is displayed.
|

Click the |< button to scroll to the very first page of search results.
|
|
 |
You are returned to the first page of search results.
Click the right arrow to scroll to the next page of search results.
|

 |
The second page of search results is displayed.
|
|
 |
|
Click the left arrow to scroll to the previous page of search results.
