Supervisors and Time & Absence Approvers can cancel absence requests in submitted or approved status for their employees to allow editing and resubmission or if taking leave is not needed.
In this article, you will learn the steps to cancel a leave request for an employee as a time & absence approver in OneUSG Connect.
First, log into OneUSG Connect.
From the Time Approver Self Service homepage in One USG Connect, click the Team Time tile.
The Team Time page is displayed.
Click the Cancel Absences link.
The Cancel Absences page with all available employees is displayed.
Select the appropriate Name / Title / ID - Record link.

The Cancel Absences page for the selected employee is displayed with their absence requests.
Click the appropriate View Requests link.

The selected absence details are displayed.
If necessary, scroll to view additional information.
Enter appropriate justification for canceling the absence request into the Comments field.
The justification is displayed in the Comments field.
Click the Cancel Absence button.
A confirmation pop-up is displayed.
To proceed, click the Yes button.
A confirmation message is displayed that the absence request canceled successfully along with a Status change to Cancelled.
