How to Connect to your Office Computer Remotely

Before doing these steps you must contact IT to enable remote desktop on your computer. Please submit a ticket here.

Instructions

1. Connect to the Cisco Any Connect VPN
2. Type Remote Desktop into the windows search bar and select "Remote Desktop Connection" 
3. Type in your computer name followed my .msmyid.uga.edu or the computers IP address. Ex: FOR-6-424.msymid.uga.edu or 172.xx.xx.xx.  If you do not know how to find this information please contact IT. 
4. Click Show Options
5. For Username enter myid\YourMYID      Example: myid\arf87565
6. Click Connect
