UGA students, faculty and staff may use MATLAB for free with an active UGA My ID. This software is not licensed for commercial use.
To download and install MATLAB, follow the instructions in this link: https://uga.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=28008 Be sure to login with your UGA My ID credentials. MATLAB indvidual licenses must be reactivated each year.
Tutorials are also available for those who wish to learn how to use the software. There is a link to a free two-hour tutorial called Onramp. Please use the following link to access the tutorial: https://matlabacademy.mathworks.com/

In addition, users can also use the UGA VLab program to access MATLAB, as well as various other software programs. To get started, visit vlab.uga.edu, enter your MyID@uga.edu and your My ID password. If prompted, you might need to verify your ID with Arch Pass Duo on your mobile device.
